SAK's Lab Rats are made up of selected graduates from our SAK University Improv Classes. These wonderful improvisers are continuing their improv education with SAK. Every Tuesday night they gather for a workshop and later that night will perform in a show for the public.

The format of the Lab Rat show is generally a competitive form of improv featuring short scenes, songs, and other warm-up or elimination games. Using audience suggestions as their base, the players spring into scenes competing for audience laughs. In the current Rat Race format, it's every man (or woman) for themselves, with players assigned to perform scenes at random, with each scene getting an audience score. The player with the most points at the end of the show wins! The prize? The coveted Hat of Cheese and Bragging Rights until the next week.

The Lab Rats group is led by Associate Director John Hunter, who conducts the weekly workshops, schedules players for the shows, and gives notes on performances.
